Level Twenty Seven Chambers is delighted to announce the arrival of seven new members, including a number of established barristers and a former senior partner at a global law firm.
Shane Monks was called to the Bar in 2004. He has a broad commercial practice, with experience in a wide variety of matters including building and construction, contractual disputes, corporations law, insolvency, intellectual property, professional indemnity claims, real property, restraint of trade, securities, tax litigation, and trade practices.
Amanda Stoker was called to the Bar in 2011 and practises in all areas of commercial law, including general contractual disputes, trade practices issues, corporations law, equity and trusts, property and insurance. She has a particular interest in administrative law.
Anthony Messina has a broad commercial practice with a focus on equity, contract, corporations, insolvency, insurance, property, and trade practices. He was called to the Bar in 2013.
Florence Chen was called to the Bar in 2014 and has a general commercial practice with experience in matters involving taxation law, banking law, insolvency and building and construction.
John Ware joins Chambers with more than 20 years’ experience in the fields of planning, environment and related administrative law. John was a partner at Herbert Smith Freehills where he led the Planning and Environment team (Brisbane office). In this role, he was recognised as a leading lawyer for Environment by Chambers & Partners Asia Pacific (2011-2016).
Chambers is also very pleased to announce that Rachel de Luchi and Bianca Kabel have joined Chambers. Rachel and Bianca were both called in 2016.
The arrival of our newest members coincides with the expansion of Chambers, having taken a lease of Level 26, 239 George Street, to complement our premises on Level 27. Our expanded chambers will soon accommodate over 35 members and staff and is tailored to our particular needs as the largest barristers’ chambers in Brisbane. We have worked closely with the architects and designers to create a professional environment which offers our clients state of the art facilities and infrastructure for conferences, seminars and video-conferencing.
