The was an appeal, one of the three, against separate decisions by Ipswich City Council to refuse an application seeking approval for a use involving the receipt and disposal of non-putrescible waste. For consideration was whether the proposed development would have an unacceptable environmental impact and have unacceptable amenity impacts. Other issues included whether the proposed development complied with the respondent’s planning scheme and whether the proposed development complies with a Temporary Local Planning Instrument.
