The impact of compulsory land acquisition can be wide ranging extending not only to landowners, but also to environmental landscapes and communities in need of vital infrastructure.
A fictitious compulsory land acquisition scenario, involving a landowner who decides to object to the acquisition of their land and litigate the matter in the Land Court of Queensland, will be seen
through the eyes of a constructing authority decision maker, solicitor, valuation expert, barrister and judge.
