A leading defamation and media law junior barrister who appeared for broadcaster Alan Jones in a high-profile seven-week defamation trial and recognised Australian Financial Review Best Lawyers®, Rachel De Luchi will facilitate a training session on behalf of the access to justice organisation LawRight.
‘Update on defamation law’ is for volunteers of the Court and Tribunal Services to learn about the recent amendments to the Defamation Act 2005 (Qld), which commenced on 1 July 2021. This session follows Rachel’s previous one for LawRight on drafting defamation defences.
